About the Role

We are seeking passionate Behavior Technicians / RBTs to join our growing ABA team serving children and adolescents in Montgomery County. Under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will provide evidence‑based, assent‑focused ABA services that help children build meaningful skills and reduce barriers to learning. This position delivers direct 1:1 services in homes, schools, community settings, and/or our ABA center (located in Rockville, MD).

What

You’ll Do
  • Provide 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services as outlined in the individualized treatment plan.
  • Teach communication, social, daily living, and coping skills using high‑quality, trauma‑informed, and assent‑based practices.
  • Implement behavior‑support strategies safely and consistently.
  • Collect accurate session data and complete electronic documentation in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, school teams, and your supervising BCBA.
  • Participate in required supervision, training, and ongoing professional development.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with IBHS regulations and agency policies.
Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred)
  • BCaBA
  • High school diploma and completion of a 40‑hour RBT Task List training
Additional Requirements
  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between service locations—willingness to travel up to 45 minutes.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of working in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with children and families.
