Exempt About the role
Responsible for the following: analyze, compute and prepare financial data for journal entries, general ledgers along other related financial statements.
Responsibilities- Conduct physical inventory.
- Prepares general ledger entries.
- Enter invoices into ERS System.
- Responsible for the following Accounts Receivable functions:
- Applying payments, monthly invoicing, reconciling customer accounts/inquiries
- Create chargeback invoices as needed.
- Notifies accountant about pricing differences.
- Request aging reports from customers.
- Assists with annual external audit and other special projects as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant business field required.
- Four years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in QAD, Microsoft Office, FAS Asset Accounting, Hyperion and Monarch.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
- Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience in multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to development and analyse financial statements
- Perform daily banking procedures
- Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
