Manager, Supply Chain
- Support senior leadership in defining and executing the company’s supply chain strategies
- Lead the supply chain function including planning/scheduling, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, shipping/receiving and logistics
- Develop, implement and report on inventory reduction strategies
- Work closely with Engineering and Quality to develop supplier capability for production‑quality parts
- Identify high‑risk suppliers and their capabilities/risk items
- Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for new product introductions with suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits and coach for continuous improvement
- Resolve chronic supplier quality issues and develop risk mitigation plans
- Plan and execute cost reduction and supplier cost recovery projects
- Provide oversight over warehouse and its personnel; directly manage the warehouse manager and indirectly manage warehouse staff
- Direct and coordinate the plant SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) process, Master Scheduling and Production Planning
- Coordinate sitewide physical inventory and cycle count programs
- Evaluate and set safety stocks, minimum order quantities, and other inventory levels to satisfy internal manufacturing and external parts sales requirements
- Establish, implement and ensure compliance with supply chain policies and procedures
- Maintain, communicate and improve Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators
- Improve effectiveness of the company ERP system
- Continually develop expertise in the Supply Chain team to support company growth
- Complete other special projects and analyses as needed

- ERP Software – MS Dynamics 365 preferred
- Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain disciplines
- 3+ years’ experience managing the work of others
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, and purchasing processes
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related field required. - Certification: APICS/CSCP Certification desired
This position manages all employees of the department (Purchasing, Production Control/Planning, and Warehousing) and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees with the department.
Position Type and HoursThis is a full‑time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TravelThis position requires occasional travel, including travel outside the local area and overnight. Occasional international travel may be required.
Work EnvironmentThe position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, iPads, phones, copiers and filing cabinets. The employee is occasionally exposed to high levels of noise, welding operations, non‑temperature controlled environments, and others typical to a heavy‑equipment manufacturing and warehouse environment. The use of proper PPE is required.
Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear, frequently required to stand and walk, occasionally required to use hands to finer, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or carry up to 25 pounds, balance, bend, stoop or kneel, climb, push/pull and squat, or crouch.
