Position: ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

Responsibilities include:

Establish and maintain an Academy related to electrical technology.

Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.

Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge in electrical technology.

Collaborate with core academic teachers to integrate curriculum and instruction.

Provide career information related to electrical technology.

Teach all content standards.

Promote the Electrical Technology Academy to students, parents, teachers, and the community.

Recruit students and encourage them to attain concentrator and complete status.

Manage materials and equipment for the Academy.

Sponsor student organizations related to the Academy.

Maintain and submit Career Tech records and documentation timely.

Attend related meetings and professional development activities.

Build positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and community members.

The position is funded for a finite duration, and tenure cannot be gained by time served, pursuant to the Students First Act of 2011, Section 4(3)(b).

Duty Days: 202.

Reports To:

PRINCIPAL.

Salary Range: $47,773.00 - $97,338.00.
