Overview
ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATON TEACHER role at Alabama State Department of Education.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and assess motor competency, physical fitness, play, recreation, leisure, and sports skills
- Provide individualized physical education instruction or services to students with physical impairments
- Provide consultative services to physical education teachers and classroom teachers on the use of adapted PE equipment
- Consult with IEP team members about student needs in the area of APE
- All other duties assigned by administrators
