Overview
Elite Connector is partnering with one of the largest automated equipment suppliers in the world to find a Controls Engineer to design and implement innovative solutions. They enhance their clients’ manufacturing facility efficiency by integrating innovative and high-value systems leveraging the full potential of robotics.
Base pay range$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Job Description- Design electrical systems and equipment for innovative industrial machines
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations
- Prepare accurate cost and material estimates for projects
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing team members during installation and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and define new product development opportunities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability
- Design and develop safety programs for automation systems including robotics
- Review and validate safety performance level of control systems
- Provide technical recommendations to ensure seamless integration of third-party equipment
- 1-3 years of proven experience working in an industrial automation manufacturing environment
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related technical field with a focus on the manufacturing of automated industrial machinery – will consider a Technician who is able to Design electrical systems
- Knowledge in electrical engineering principles, standards, and practices such as NFPA, UL, and NEC
- Strong proficiency with CAD software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
- Familiarity with automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and industrial communication protocols
- Ability to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure proper operation of machines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Travel up to 15%
