Job descriptionAs an Electrical Design Technician
, you will support our data center design team by creating and drafting detailed drawings for various facility design projects. You will work alongside a team of Revit Technicians, Designers, Engineers, and Architects using Revit and AutoCAD to prepare construction drawings for MEP systems.
- Draft and update construction drawings for MEP systems in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Maintain project templates, set up new projects, and manage central and local files.
- Control work‑sets, visibility, and parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate BIM processes and deliver quality drawings.
- At least 7 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD for building‑related designs.
- BS degree reduces this requirement by 1‑2 years.
- Proficient in creating and updating templates, and project set‑up in Revit.
- Familiar with working with central and local files.
- Able to manage work‑sets, control visibility, and use various parameters in Revit families and schedules.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong skills with Revit 2017 & 2018, BIM
360, Autodesk, BIM 360 GLUE, and Navisworks. - US citizenship.
