Environmental Engineering Specialist (Chemical)
The Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) is seeking qualified candidates with a BS degree in Civil, Chemical, Agricultural/Biosystems, or Mechanical engineering. This professional work includes basic and routine environmental engineering evaluations. Positions are available in the Water, Land and Air Divisions. Certain positions may require overnight travel. Beginning salary is $61,063.20 annually. With FE Licensure, a qualifying master’s degree and/or at least one year environmental engineering experience, the salary could increase.
