Job Details

Our organization is looking for a dynamic and experienced Audit Senior to join our Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in auditing financial statements and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Responsibilities
  • Leading, planning, and executing a variety of financial statement audits in accordance with GAAP.
  • Evaluating internal control systems and suggesting improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
  • Preparing and presenting audit findings to senior management, highlighting areas of risk and proposing practical solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Keeping abreast of latest developments in auditing standards and financial regulations.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior audit staff, fostering a supportive and challenging work environment.
  • Assisting in the creation of annual audit plans and risk assessments.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (such as CPA, CIA, or CISA) is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a senior audit role, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify potential risks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using audit software and other financial systems.
  • A proven track record of managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
  • A high level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
