Currently, our partner is seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Tax Manager to join their hybrid team in Alabama.

• Direct and oversee a diverse portfolio of complex tax engagements for corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth individual clients from inception to completion.
• Provide high-level tax planning, restructuring, and consulting services, helping clients navigate shifting legislative landscapes and optimize their tax positions.
• Assume final review responsibilities for intricate tax filings, ensuring all deliverables meet the firm's rigorous quality standards.
• Drive engagement profitability by effectively managing project economics, budgets, realization rates, and client billing cycles.

• Actively participate in the firm's growth by cultivating new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing accounts.
• Collaborate across different service lines (e.g., audit, advisory, HR solutions) to cross-sell holistic business solutions to clients.
• Represent the firm in the local market through networking events, industry conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Act as a key leader within the tax department, contributing to strategic planning, operational improvements, and workflow optimization.
• Directly manage, coach, and evaluate supervisors, senior associates, and staff, playing a critical role in their performance management and career trajectory.
• Lead internal training sessions and technical updates to ensure the tax department remains at the forefront of industry changes.

• Active CPA license is strictly required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
  Master's degree in Taxation (MTax) or Accounting is highly preferred.
• 6 years of comprehensive professional experience in public accounting, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex tax engagements.
• Proven ability to manage high-level client relationships and drive business development initiatives.
• Deep expertise in federal and state tax compliance, tax planning, and strategic advisory.
• Strong leadership acumen with experience mentoring diverse teams and managing departmental workflows.
• Outstanding executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
