Clinical Dietitian – Full‑time, Acute Care, Bakersfield, CA. Semi‑remote schedule (4 days onsite/1 day remote). This position is part of the Nutrition Team at Kern Medical Hospital, an acute care teaching center with 222 beds, providing advanced trauma care.

• Provide medical nutrition therapy, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for the patient population.
• Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations, and maintain confidentiality, HIPAA, and patient rights.
• Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
• Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility‑wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement initiatives.

• Credentialed Registered Dietitian (CDR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board in applicable states.
• One year of hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programs.
