Job Description: The Clinical and Health Informaticist challenges the status quo of the healthcare experience through the Science of Informatics. This is an exciting field where experts innovate, design, simplify, and translate technology to support the Intermountain Health mission and vision. The position is responsible for workflow and system analysis and functional design for software development and configuration activities related to clinical applications.
Caregivers in this role are also responsible for participating in the implementation, training, adoption, and process improvement of Health Information Technology (HIT). The Informaticist acts as a liaison with business and clinical users and the software development/application teams. This position uses intermediate informatics principles to support and lead moderately complex projects with limited supervision, while developing clinical understanding and advanced informatics skills.

- Training or experience in Continuous Improvement
- Current licensure for registered nurses and other licensed clinical staff
- Ability to see, read, and assess information, labels, monitors, and equipment
- Frequent communication with customers and staff
- Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and supplies
- Ability to lift, transport, and set up equipment, including heavy items

Hourly Rate: $35.29 - $55.57, dependent on experience
