Overview
This is a technical position requiring education in the field of radiology technology. The individual is responsible for performing radiographic examinations, assisting radiologists and other physicians during fluoroscopic studies, in addition to performing exams in the operating room and the emergency room.
Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of School of Radiological Technology - Experience:
Graduate from an approved two-year radiology program - Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
American Registry of Radiology - Technology and BLS required.
- Equipment/Tools/Work Aids:
Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment, computers, image processing equipment. - Specialized
Skills:
Proficiency in radiological technology. - Physical Requirements:
Job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and pushing in excess of twenty-five pounds.
