The Posting Representative shall be responsible to accurately post insurance and patient payments to the correct patient account in a timely manner. This individual will ensure accurate posting as it is essential to the operations of the Central Business Office and to the financial success of Baptist Health. The Posting Representative must have knowledge of Baptist Health's Managed Care contracts so that payments are posted correctly.

The Representative shall be able to identify underpayments from insurance companies, identify problem areas that result in insurance denials and accurately bill the patient. The Representative is responsible to reconcile the insurance payment, the contractual allowance, and the patient's copay and/or deductible to the remit. Additionally, the Representative must balance the bank deposit daily. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.

High school graduate or equivalent required.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read and write proficiently. Demonstrated positive attitude and acceptance of Baptist Health values.
• Excellent bookkeeping skills.
• Ability to balance deposits with daily postings required.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Previous cash posting experience preferred.
