SummaryProvides phlebotomy expertise, decision making, and problem solving skills based on in-depth knowledge of phlebotomy procedures. Performs the collection, receipt in computer, processing, and delivery of patient specimens for tests performed by the laboratory.
Education / ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an approved phlebotomy training program or one year of proven experience in Hospital, Reference, or Physician Office Lab required.
License / CertificationNone
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Exceptional customer service skills and proficiency in utilization of personal computer skills.
