TS​/SCI Network Administrator III; WAN; Day Shift

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Network Administrators for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force.

The day to day is as follows:

• Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
• Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
• Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.
• Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
• Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.

• 7+ years experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
• Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations is required and Software Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• IAT-II Certification
• TS/ SCI Eligible
• CCNP Collaboration, CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, OR CCNP Service Provider
  -CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, CCIE Service Provider, or CCIE Data Center CCIE Collaboration certifications

• Can be submitted with no clearance or secret cleared
