Product Demonstrator Part Time

This part-time associate role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Previous experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stock management, or as a brand ambassador is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers to communicate key points about products.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety requirements during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Collaborating with the team to meet sales goals for the products.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday) preferred; holidays and weekdays also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances such as microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to the workforce, or with military experience. Comprehensive online and on-the-job training will be provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse environment. Some exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
