Opportunity available in the Central Alabama territory of the US South Sales Region. Open to relocation. Lead the future of sustainable solutions in the pulp & paper industry, driving innovation, growth, and impact.

• Build and maintain solid working relationships with customers, understanding their needs and identifying how Valmet can partner to ensure the right solutions at the right time.
• Coordinate equipment upgrades, rebuilds, repairs, and parts and services within the specified territory.
• Promote and sell the entire Valmet offering while staying involved in the region to understand and analyze market for product growth.
• Provide updates on sales, projections, bookings, proposal activities, costs, and other related customer activities.
• Participate in and lead equipment audits, on‑site services, data collection, inventory audits, or other support for customers in relation to paper machine services or specific customer contracts.
• Help provide a territory sales forecast/budget for assigned accounts, including competitor analysis.

• Bachelor of Engineering, Science, or Business Degree with 5 to 10 years of related technical experience (machine engineer, process manager, paper mill operations, maintenance management, or commercial/account management in the pulp and paper industry).
• Experience in sales is a plus; equivalent combination of education and experience will be seriously considered.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
