Overview
DLS Engineering is a 30‑year federal contracting engineering firm with a commitment to excellence. We are hiring a Network Administrator III (WAN) to support the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program at Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL.
Location: On‑site at Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL
Employment type: Full‑time
Shift: Day or Swing
Salary Range: $85,000 – $88,000 per year
Clearance: Active TS/SCI (required); IAT‑II (required); CCNA (required)
- Analyze and simulate network traffic to aid in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
- Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth; report anomalies to Government team leads.
- Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks.
- Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re‑work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
- 7+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
- Deep understanding of enterprise‑level network architectures/configurations; experience with Software‑Defined Networking (SDN) is desired.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
- IAT‑II certification (required).
- CCNA certification (required).
- Must be able to pass a government background check, which will be completed before employment.
