Description
Job Purpose and ObjectivesResponsible for overseeing individuals who have been arrested and are awaiting trial or who have been sentenced to serve time in jail for Montgomery County.
Position Requirements and QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Requirements- High school diploma or other equivalent
- Prior military, law enforcement or security experience preferred
- 18 years of age, ability to pass a background check, drug screening and a physical exam
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Ability to fulfill all duties with minimal supervision and to work independently
- Assess situations rapidly and make logical decisions in a timely manner
- Analyze facts and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to effectively manage projects and multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong math, spelling, computer, and calculator abilities
- Ability to communicate in a professional, calm, and courteous manner with the general public and employees
- Attention to detail
