In this exciting role in our Contracting Division, you will be commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, and end-to-end testing of assigned projects.

This position has been designated as Remote within a geography. You will work on projects at job sites in and around the Montgomery, AL area.
What you’ll be doing :- Set up the Building Automation Systems on diverse job sites in and around the area. Commission and start up BAS systems and document point to point verification; sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
- Coordinate with team leader and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
- Keep current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
- Enforce safety to the highest standards and maintain security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.
- A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with commercial controls and BAS systems
- Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
- Previous background in programming, commissioning and startup of Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Tridium/Niagara based controls systems is highly desirable.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with hand-held devices (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
- A valid driver’s license, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
- EPA Certification Preferred.
- Ability to work on-call rotation and/or overtime to support the business, including occasional overnight stays.
$22 - 40+ / Hourly

- Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties.

- Must be able to reach your hands over your head.
- Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours.
