Main Purpose of JobThe main purpose of this position is to prepare and administer the facility’s annual budget in conjunction with the Chief Executive Officer. This position is responsible for all fiscal activities and the timely submission of all necessary financial reports. This position requires the preparation, with the assistance of the COO and CEO, and maintenance of an integral plan of operation to make optimal use of available funds to achieve the facility’s mission.
MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 30 credit hours in accounting and related courses, including or supplemented by 3 credit hours in auditing.
Experience:
Three years of experience examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience with FMIS statewide system
- Experience with concepts of budgeting for a state agency
