Job SummaryThe Arts and Humanities student worker is responsible for performing basic office tasks and assisting on projects assigned by the supervisor. Periodically, the student may be tasked with marketing assignments such as creating a flyer.
Responsibilities and Tasks- Answer telephone calls, direct calls, and take messages (20%).
- Assist faculty with copy machine, printer, fax, scanner, computer, and other office equipment (20%).
- Check classrooms (ensuring projectors and lights are off, cleaning boards, locking rooms in the afternoon) (20%).
- Assist in projects as assigned (30%).
- Sort and distribute mail, email, and other correspondence (10%).
