UAM, one of twenty campuses of the University of Arkansas System, is located in southeastern Arkansas in the beautiful timberlands, rich in outdoor recreation activities, and approximately 100 miles south of Little Rock. UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master’s degree programs.
Summary ofJob Duties
The successful candidate will teach the equivalent of 12 credits per semester. The person hired will be expected to engage in an active program of scholarship with students, provide academic advisement, advise undergraduate projects, participate in university service, and support a culture of collegiality and civility.
Qualifications- Ph.D. in Psychology or closely related field.
- ABD candidates who have completed their degrees by December 2026 will be considered.
- Ability to teach undergraduate‑level classes in introductory psychology, research methods, statistical methods, developmental psychology, and/or other courses in an undergraduate psychology program.
- Ability to maintain an active program of scholarship in the field of psychology.
- Teaching experience with online teaching using the Blackboard learning platform and field experience in areas of specialization is highly desirable.
Commensurate with education and experience.
