Education/
Experience:
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy
Computer
Skills:
- Proficient in clinical documentation and basic internet navigation
Certificates and Licenses:
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and patients, adhering to all regulations, and delivering quality care as per the plan of care. Supervise rehab techs where required, and manage cases effectively.
Essential Duties:
- Optimize patients’ functional abilities under PT supervision
- Develop and build strong therapy programs
- Enhance professional skills through interaction and continuing education
- Maintain valid licensure and stay informed on industry issues
- Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and payment models
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively in English in instructions and documentation
