As a Sawmill Superintendent with Interfor, you will lead the overall operations of a modern sawmill, driving safety, productivity, and team engagement in a dynamic environment. • Safety: Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all policies and standards are followed.
• Leadership: Direct and support your team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Quality: Oversee all aspects of lumber manufacturing to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Accountability: Manage budgets, performance reviews, and compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Experience: 5–7 years of progressive supervisory experience in sawmill or manufacturing operations.
• Education: Post-secondary education in a related field preferred (degree or diploma an asset).
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Knowledge: Thorough understanding of sawmill processes, safety, and optimization best practices.
