Ryan Auto Mall, a leading player in the automotive industry, is excited to announce a new opening for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Detailer. This pivotal role focuses primarily on the upkeep and detailed care of our vehicles, ensuring each car is presented in pristine condition. We are offering a permanent, full-time position that requires physical presence at our dealership, highlighting that this is not a remote job opportunity.
As a Detailer at Ryan Auto Mall, you will play a crucial role in the visual appeal and upkeep of our automotive inventory, directly impacting the satisfaction of our clients and the success of our sales efforts.
- Thoroughly clean vehicle interiors and exteriors using appropriate cleaning solutions, brushes, and cloths. This includes vacuuming interiors, waxing exteriors, and applying fabric protectants.
- Detail cars to a "like new" condition, ensuring each vehicle meets Ryan Auto Mall’s high standards of cleanliness before being placed on the showroom floor or delivered to a customer.
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and report these defects to the management.
- Apply waxes, sealants, or other protective agents to preserve or restore the paint and interior condition.
- Use high attention to detail to prevent damage to vehicle components during cleaning.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, placing orders or notifying management when supplies are low.
- Operate and maintain all detailing equipment properly and safely, including automated car washes, vacuums, buffers, and pressure washers.
- Adhere to all company policies and health and safety protocols while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Keep a record of cleaned vehicles and report any issues or damages encountered during the detailing process.
- Coordinate with the sales and service departments to manage the scheduling of detailing in alignment with business needs.
- Proven experience as a vehicle detailer or in a similar role that requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in handling detailing equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals, and understanding of their safe application.
- Excellent manual dexterity and stamina to handle long hours of physical labor.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks within specified timelines.
- A high standard of work ethics with an emphasis on punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to operate various types of detailing tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage supplies and inventory effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in Auto Detailing is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary:$16.00 - $20.00 /per hour
