License / Education Requirements

• Current MN Teaching License for Work Based Learning

Qualifications

• Experience in school setting and/or previous experience working with secondary level students
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, community and students
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents and staff

Essential Skills Required

• Identify the needs of students through formal and informal assessments
• Communicate with students, parents and staff on a regular basis about student progress
• Foster a community where all people are valued, respected, seen and heard
• Update all necessary records accurately as required by laws, district policies and school regulations
• Attend department, school and parent meetings or functions
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families; experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Salary

• Salary Range: $44,182 - $90,327 for 1 FTE per the current Faculty Master Agreement
