Position: LTS B-3 Early Childhood Special Education Teacher/Evaluator (Long Term Substitute)

Daily Rate $241

• Provide Birth to Three early childhood special education services with families and students ages birth to three.
• Complete evaluations and/or provide early intervention services during home visits in the three member districts (Becker, Big Lake, and Monticello).
• Collaborate with other service providers to meet the needs of students and families.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students and families.
• Travel frequently within the service area for home visits.

• Licensed in the State of Minnesota to teach Early Childhood Special Education (B-Age
  6).
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
• Ability to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education.
• Ability to follow and implement due process and timeline requirements in special education.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families; experience completing initial Part C and Part B evaluations with infants, toddlers, and families.
• Effective oral and written communication and teaming skills.
• Flexibility, excellent attendance, and willingness to adapt activities to individual needs.
• Knowledge and application of technology and assistive technology; maintain confidentiality; experience with diverse students and families.

• Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood Special Education (Birth-3 or B-Age
  6).
• Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.

• Long Term Substitute position in the Sherburne and Northern Wright Special Education Cooperative.
• Districts served:
  Becker, Big Lake, Monticello.
• Position type:
  Long-term substitute; usually within the Birth-to-Three program.
