MENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONER: CO-OCCURRING DISORDER SPECIALIST - ASSERTIVE COMMUNITY TREATMENT (ACT)
Overview
We are seeking a Mental Health Practitioner:
Co-Occurring Disorder Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Monticello. This role involves providing a continuum of services including assessment, treatment, education, and support, with individual, group, and family contacts, under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional. The position includes Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) for ACT clients with substance use problems.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Provide a continuum of services including assessment, treatment, education, and support, as well as individual, group and family contacts, under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
- Provide Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment to ACT clients who have a substance use problem.
- Implement services in the treatment plan for each client.
- Complete ongoing comprehensive substance assessments.
- Coordinate services with other programs and providers.
Qualifications
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in Minnesota.
- Meet the qualifications defined in Minnesota Statute 245.462, subdivision 17 and additional IDDT training.
- Clear DHS background study.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy preferred.
- ACT Team experience preferred.
Compensation
- Target Range - $21.50 - $24.00 (based on degree level, licensure & experience)
Schedule
- Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm (hours may vary with client schedules)
- Nights and Weekends/on-call shifts roughly every 6 weeks
