Standby Weekend Caregiver Hours

• Saturdays & Sundays

• On-call from 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM

• You will be notified by 3:00 PM each day if any evening coverage is needed

• Must be able to report to a shift within 1 hour of being contacted

• $25/hour Premium Pay for all hours actually worked (or $26/CNA)

• Guaranteed minimum of 16 paid hours per weekend

• If fewer than 16 hours are worked, the remaining balance is paid at $20/hour

• You may work more than 16 hours depending on call-off volume

• Work 10 hours → 10 x $25 = $250 + 6 x $20 =$370 total

• Work 20 hours → 20 x $25 =$500 total

• Available on-call from8:00 AM to 10:00 PM , Saturdays & Sundays

• Must be able to arrive within 1 hour of being called

• Reliable transportation and active phone monitoring

• Experienced Caregiver Nursing Assistant with exceptional attendance and job retention

• At least
  21 years of age

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record

• 3 years of driving experience

• Proof of Auto Insurance (your name must be listed as an authorized driver)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely

• Must pass state & federal background check and fingerprinting

• Experience assisting both male and female clients

• Experience with
  dementia care and end-of-life care preferred

• Light housekeeping: bathrooms, kitchens, laundry, dusting, garbage

• Meal prep, cooking, baking
• Companionship and conversation

• Interactive caregiving

• Errands and transportation
• Assistance with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
• Hands-on personal care: dressing, grooming, hygiene, incontinence care
• Safe mobility support and use of transfer equipment
• Medication reminders and assistance
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
• Electronic documentation of all care provided

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently

• Professional and compassionate demeanor

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Positive references and employment history showing excellent attendance and job retention
