Monticello, MN | Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM

As a Tooling Technician in our Die Cast Operations, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our production running smoothly by preparing, maintaining, and repairing the tools that shape our high-performance parts. You’ll Do
- Set up and prepare die cast tooling for production, ensuring everything is ready to run at peak performance.
- Diagnose and repair tooling issues, including replacing cores and pins and performing die maintenance.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate across shifts to communicate tooling changes and updates.
- Assist in die cast equipment setups and support production teams as needed.
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe—because quality starts with you.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of machining experience or a two-year machine technology degree preferred.
- Knowledge of CNC equipment, diecast equipment, and maintenance of machines preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and a team-first mindset.
- Lift/move up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Stand, walk, and use hands throughout your shift.
- Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with moderate noise and occasional exposure to chemicals.
- Safety gear provided—your protection is our priority.
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $30/hr - $35/hr per hour, plus eligibility for overtime. Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
