Material Handler; Forklift Driver - 1st Shift Posted Warehouse​/Shipping​/Rece

This position receives, stores and distributes materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring manufacturing has materials needed in timely manner, while maintaining efficient material organization, timeliness, and inventory accuracy. Transport materials and product from, to, and within department assigned. Process various inventory transactions while maintaining 99% inventory accuracy for your area of responsibility.

• Use forklift to move materials and product within department as instructed.
• Load and unload trucks at shipping and receiving docks as instructed.
• Verifies part numbers, quantities, and purchase order information against packing slips.
• Maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area.
• Cycle count inventory and research problems.
• Process small parcel (UPS) shipments and receipts.
• Process outbound shipments and inbound receipts.
• Pick boxed merchandise from warehouse.
• Investigates inventory discrepancies and concludes the most probable cause of errors.
• Keys all warehouse inventory adjustments.
• Participate in PCI process.

• Ability to operate numerous forklifts: electric stand-up, electric sit-down, L.P. and side load, in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Ability to read and understand routings, work orders, manifests, and production reports.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Certification as Polaris forklift driver required.
• Ability to take instructions and work with little supervision.
• Ability to operate overhead crane.
• Ability to use MAPICS computer software.
• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Team Player with focus on customer service and Quality.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Monday – Thursday 5AM – 3:30PM. Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Minimum Rate: $19/hour. Individual rates are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.

Individual pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
