Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder is seeking a civil engineer who has experience or an interest in land development, erosion & sedimentation control, water and wastewater, and post construction stormwater design and related permitting. We are looking for a motivated individual to work with our current team on various development projects in the Greater Pennsylvania region, including the challenging & rewarding projects relating to the collection and treatment of acid mine drainage and mine water as well providing safe drinking water systems to rural Pennsylvania municipalities.
Other projects the individual may be involved with are commercial, industrial and energy development projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Kleinfelder’s multi-disciplinary teams throughout the Mid-Atlantic allow for a diverse backlog of projects, greater efficiency and collaboration between offices and opportunities for growth in many service lines and/or markets.
Job Responsibilities :
Individual will be tasked with working with our current staff on the development of designs and plans related to:
- Feasibility and Project development analysis
- Erosion & Sedimentation control
- Post Construction Stormwater management
- Prepare NPDES permit applications
- Prepare Public Water Supply & Water Quality Management Permit Applications
- Technical Specification Development
- Land Development Applications in accordance with federal, state and local ordinances
- Zoning compliance and Stakeholder Engagement
- Construction Observation and Management
Position Requirements :
- B.S. is Civil Engineering or similar field
- 1-3 years of experience in engineering or industry experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3-D
- Knowledge of Hydroflow
- Microsoft Suite Experience Required
Experience:
- E.I.T. certificate
- Understanding of Land Development Processes
- Understanding of Zoning Ordinance Review & Compliance
- Understanding of Erosion & Sedimentation Control Design
- Understanding of Post Construction Stormwater Design
- Knowledge of PA Department of Environmental Protection Design Manuals
