Municipal Finance Clerk: Accounts Payable & Tax

The City of Montpelier, Vermont’s capital, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the Finance Department and Assessor’s Office. This full-time role reports to the Director of Finance and Administration and focuses on accuracy in financial and assessment records.

The role handles bi-weekly accounts payable, posts online payments, processes tax and utility payments, responds to inquiries, and provides telephone support for the Finance Department.
