The X-ray Supervisor, at the direction of the Manager of Radiology will:
Responsibilities- Perform the duties of an Xray Technologist.
- Oversee the technical and compliance measures of all operations in Xray.
- Assist with scheduling employees to ensure staffing meets patient volume needs.
- Participate in the hiring process of new staff.
- Oversee technical procedures, patient care and workflow for safe and effective patient care.
- Provide guidance for other staff members and facilitate collaboration with all levels of departmental personnel.
- The position is part of the rotating weekend on-call rotation
8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Requirements- Associate's degree or equivalent from an approved Medical Radiographic Program.
- At least three years of experience in Xray
- Two years of experience as a lead tech or Radiology supervisor
- Effective communication skills
- Participating in ACR accreditation is a plus.
