You are the dynamic, passionate Support Staff Technician we are looking for. Your expertise and professionalism are needed at our Primary Care Office in Montpelier, IN to provide support and administrative services.
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm. Travel, up to 10% may be necessary for training purposes.

- Communication (verbal and written) and consultation with all center staff, clients and the general public. Maintaining a professional, customer‑focused environment.
- Answering incoming telephone calls, scheduling/rescheduling appointments for primary care and behavioral providers, taking messages and/or routing to appropriate extension.
- Collecting patient co‑pays and payments at registration and general cashier duties.
- Retrieves medical records from outside providers and creates medical record chart for new patients. Maintains a working knowledge of release of information procedures per Meridian policies and procedures.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years secretarial/office experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical setting strongly preferred.
- Computer proficiency and ability to type and/or use computer in order to complete data entry and telephone duties.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- A valid driver's license with a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
