Tree Trimmer​/Groundman Field

What You'll Do:
As a Tree Trimmer/Groundman at Tree Works, you’ll support expert arborists in maintaining, pruning, and removing trees across a range of properties. You’ll be hands-on with high-powered tools, support ground operations, and ensure work sites are clean, safe, and efficient. Your role is essential to both job site flow and team safety.

Your Impact:

• Assist in pruning, trimming, and tree removal alongside certified arborists
• Operate and maintain equipment like chainsaws, chippers, and rigging gear
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, ropes, and materials
• Support brush chipping, debris removal, and equipment transport
• Maintain clean and safe work zones
• Communicate closely with the crew to keep operations moving smoothly
• Identify and report safety issues and perform minor maintenance on gear
• Work flexibly—some overtime and variable shifts required

What You Bring:

• Basic familiarity with tools, outdoor equipment, and site safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tight-knit team
• Willingness to learn and operate machinery (with training provided)
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather
• Bonus if you’re familiar with utility materials or tree care tools

Preferred Add-Ons:

• Valid driver’s license
• DOT Medical Card
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Emergency aerial rescue skills a plus
