Reporting to the Manager, Accounts payable, t
he Accounts Payable Agent will assist in the operation of the Accounts Payable department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Validate invoices and expense reports electronically
Processing expense invoices electronically
Manage various discrepancies related to invoices
Collaborate with branches and other departments to resolve discrepancies
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Monitoring the mailboxes, respond to supplier’s needs and questions regarding their files
Execute checks and prepare wire payments
Provide training and support required from our branches
Other related responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
DEP in accounting or equivalent experience
Minimum two to four years’ experience in accounts payable
Bilingualism (French and English spoken and written) to communicate with stakeholders across the country
Excel (advanced)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Able to process large volumes
Organizational skills, efficiency, and attention to detail
Knowledge of Canadian taxes
Knowledge of the Workday system is an asset
