Accounting technician

Responsibilities   Perform tasks related to the full accounting cycle
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with invoicing and sales tracking
Contribute to inventory management and control
Prepare various financial analyses and reports
Collaborate with management to improve accounting procedures
Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures
Qualifications   Degree in accounting
10 years of experience in a similar role
Excellent proficiency with computer tools (Excel) and accounting software
Diligence, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of taxes (GST/QST)
Strengths and Additional Experience   

Experience with Odoo (a major plus)
Experience in a multi-departmental environment
Knowledge of human resources
Experience working with foreign workers
Knowledge of the agri-food industry
