Alpi Canada Forwarders Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk, with strong experience in Collections, to join our team. This role is responsible for managing receivables, proactively collecting outstanding accounts, reducing aging balances, and ensuring accurate financial records while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Manage accounts receivable and collections activities
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
- Contact customers regarding outstanding balances and payment commitments
- Apply payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Maintain accurate collection records and documentation
- Experience in accounts receivable and strong experience in collections
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to think critically and work independently
- Bilingual in English and French (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations (preferred)
- Salary: CAD $40,000-$42,000 (annually gross)
