Accounting Analyst - Temporary Position Montreal

Mission

I am looking for an accounting analyst to cover a parental leave position through September
2027. The role is with a food industry company in Laval.

• Managing the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, sending out account statements, and following up on collections.
• Managing accounts payable, processing invoices, and tracking payments.
• Entering accounting data and maintaining up-to-date customer, supplier, and product records.
• Performing various accounting reconciliations and analyses, including expense tracking.
• Processing purchase receipts and ensuring the accuracy of inventory costs.
• Participating in the management and reconciliation of inventories across various warehouses.
• Preparing certain administrative reports and filings, including IFTA filings.
• Issuing credit memos and tracking merchandise returns.
• Providing quality customer service and responding to requests from customers and suppliers.
• Participating in the accounting management of the production division, including tracking costs and inventory.
• Contributing to process improvement and the implementation of current systems.
• Performing any other related tasks.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (Required)
• Experience in the food industry
• Bilingual in French and English to communicate with customers and suppliers in other countries
• Must have a vehicle to travel to various locations in Laval
