Collections-Focused Accounts Receivable Clerk

Become a key member of Alpi Canada Forwarders Ltd. as a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk with a focus on collections. Help manage outstanding accounts and enhance financial transparency.

This position requires managing accounts receivable and overseeing collection activities. You will actively monitor overdue accounts and engage with customers to encourage timely payments. Your critical thinking and organizational skills will also support the resolution of billing discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounts receivable functions and collections

• Follow up on overdue accounts using aging reports

• Communicate with clients to confirm payment arrangements

• Process payments and reconcile customer accounts accurately

• Maintain thorough documentation of collection efforts

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable and collections

• Strong ability to negotiate and communicate with clients

• Think critically and operate independently in tasks

• Bilingual in English and French is an asset

• Attention to detail with solid organizational skills
