Position: Finance and Operations Coordinator at Daybreak Housing

As a Finance and Operations Coordinator, you will report to the Executive Director while partnering with the Virtual Controller. Your responsibilities encompass full-cycle bookkeeping, compliance, and maintaining financial records aligned with non-profit standards. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are crucial for success in this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records per non-profit standards

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable

• Process payroll and prepare statutory remittances

• Track expenses across multiple funding sources

• Administer charitable donation receipting and maintain donor records

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance

• Two to five years of relevant bookkeeping experience

• Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage competing deadlines effectively
