Position: Senior Financial Accountant at CN

Elevate your accounting career as the Senior Financial Accountant at CN, focusing on complex financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and project-related financial activities.

This role offers a dynamic environment where you’ll lead month-end closings and contribute to policy implementation.

With a minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting and a CPA designation, you'll manage significant transactions and collaborate with various teams. Your expertise in U.S. GAAP accounting policies, financial statement disclosures, and foreign currency management will be vital. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) while actively contributing to the financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end closing and prepare reconciliations

• Manage accounting policy implementations and reviews

• Collaborate with auditors for internal and external audits

• Assist in the foreign currency hedging strategy

• Prepare financial statements for benefit plans

Requirements:

• 4+ years experience in CPA firm or relevant industry

• CPA designation and Bachelor’s in Accountancy

• Bilingual in English and French

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP

• Strong problem-solving skills and agility
