Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and financial analysis of financial statements
• Prepare client payrolls
• Prepare year-end financial statements in the form of a compilation
• Prepare corporate tax returns for companies
• Prepare year-end forms (T4, T5)
• Prepare individual tax returns

• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Experience in an accounting firm is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Sage 50 and/or Quick Books (Intuit) is a plus
• Knowledge of Caseware/Caseview software is a plus
• Knowledge of Taxprep software is a plus

• Ability to identify accounting issues and resolve them efficiently
• Excellent customer service: attentive to client needs and effective communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Financial analysis skills
