Assistant Manager for Private Equity Funds

Location: Montreal

Join Vistra as an Assistant Manager for Fund Services, available in Canada, where your expertise in Private Equity will shine. This full-time role focuses on fund operations, ensuring compliance with critical financial standards and timelines.

In this position, you will report directly to the Executive Director of Private Assets and handle day-to-day operational activities.

Your role involves coordinating the team, managing the accounting for private equity funds, and ensuring that financial reports are accurate and completed on time. Develop and maintain client relationships through attentive service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main contact for day-to-day operational concerns

• Organize and manage team workload effectively

• Handle accounting for a diverse portfolio of funds

• Draft annual financial statements and disclosures

• Prepare capital call and distribution notices as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Accountancy

• At least 5 years of experience in fund accounting

• Proficient in Private Equity accounting software

• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
