Accounting Analyst

I am looking for an Accounting Analyst for a company in the distribution sector in Montreal.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of periodic financial statements and the analysis of financial results
- Conducting budget variance analyses
- Preparing various financial reports and analyses for management
- Monitor and reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate identified discrepancies
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions
- Prepare and post adjusting and end-of-period journal entries
-Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial information
-Participate in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls
-Collaborate on the preparation of documentation required for external audits
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes
-Perform any other related tasks

Your Profile:

-Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA certification obtained or in progress
-3 to 5 years of accounting experience
-Proficiency in Excel

- Experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system (a plus)
-Bilingual in French and English
