Join Walter Capital Management as a Full Cycle Accounting Analyst in Westmount, Montréal. This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to engage in diverse accounting projects while supporting innovative financial practices.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Projects, you will oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle for partnerships and corporate structures.
Your role will involve supporting month-end close processes and collaborating on potential improvements in financial software, ensuring effective execution and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounting functions for partnerships
• Oversee fund accounting activities and investment valuations
• Track accounts receivable and manage invoicing tasks
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and analyses
• Support annual regulatory filings and audits
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in relevant fields
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ASPE standards
• Expertise in advanced Excel and financial software tools
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English
