Enhance payroll operations as a Bilingual Payroll Specialist with Canopy Growth, in a full-time remote role. Focus on processing payroll accurately for a dynamic workforce while ensuring compliance with legislative standards.
As part of the payroll team, you will oversee the complete payroll cycle for 600+ employees. This role includes data verification, payroll adjustments, and direct engagement with departments to provide superior customer service. Your insight into payroll processes will support ongoing enhancements and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely payroll processing across multiple locations
• Enter and verify payroll data including changes and adjustments
• Monitor payroll transactions for accuracy and completeness
• Apply federal and provincial payroll legislation
• Help with T4 preparation and other reporting requirements
Requirements:
• Bilingual in both English and French
• 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing
• Familiarity with Canadian payroll legislation
• Experience using HRIS or payroll software like Workday
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
